Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)

Equine Assisted Learning is an emerging, non-traditional approach to learning that involves hands-on activities with horses.  During an EAL session, participants will be given a challenge to accomplish…a challenge that involves a horse.  During the activity, our professionals coach, cheer and help participants discover things about themselves, how they approach problems individually and as a member of a group.

Why use a horse?  Horses naturally are body-language creatures and have the ability to mirror feelings that people around them may not even be aware of.  As an active participant in each exercise, the horse is an incredible partner on the journey to self discovery.

EAL can be an effective tool for:
*Corporate Teambuilding
*Autism/ADD/ADHD
*Small Group Dynamics (Church groups, Families, Scouts)

During the challenges, participants will explore:

• Non-verbal communication • Creative Thinking
• Assertiveness • Problem Solving
• Leadership • Accepting Responsibility
• Teamwork • Relationship Dynamics
• Confidence • Verbal Communication
